The (Re)collection Project

Another season. Another series. And this one I am extremely excited about. Like all our projects at Labspace Studio, this one comes from a place of discovery, exploration and a genuine obsession with human psychology. We're currently looking for collaborators for all three projects...

The (Re)collection Project is a three-part series of creative projects & social experiments that investigate how people remember the past, experience the present, and think about the future.

I Worry Project | Exhibition: June 24-26
"Part social experiment, part confessional, I Worry is a video project and multimedia exhibition that pieces together the intimate anxieties of over 100 collaborators in a pursuit to answer the question: What do we worry about most?"

Moments Intercepted Project | Exhibition: July 22-24
"Moments, Intercepted is an experience-activated art project & digital archive that uses creativity as a tool to encourage people to be more “present” in their day-to-day lives. Through a series of random & impulsive creative challenges, participants are asked to respond, document & transform everyday moments into miniature art projects."

In Memory Project | Exhibition: August 19-21
"In Memory is a collection of collaborative art installations created by pairs of artists who have been asked to recall, reinterpret and recreate a past memory, together."
