City Songs on Repeat

I am one of those people who listens to songs on repeat for weeks, months even, just one song, exclusively, over and over and over, until that song invades my whole self and I am walking and thinking and breathing in rhythm to its structure. And then, just like that, for whatever reason it passes through me. And just like that, I am back to normal again.

I phased out Iron & Wine a few years back, stupidly. Sometimes we do foolish things to forget about certain people or places or moments in time.

But I recently discovered this song, Boy with a Coin. It's taken over.

If you see me walking down the street, I am likely listening to it on my iPod, imagining I am some Spanish gypsy in some Spanish town with no place to go, and so, I keep on going.
